経済社会システムの構造変化，さらには電気事業をめぐる規制緩和は，電気事業のあり方を大きく変えつつあり，これらの変化が電気事業経営に及ぼす影響について迅速かつ的確に捉えることが重要である。そこで，電気事業経営における迅速な意思決定を支援するため，経済成長率や為替レートなどの電気事業にとっての外的環境の変化や，電気料金設定，設備投資計画といった経営施策の変更が，電灯電力需要，資金調達，収支など経営の意思決定に関わる指標に及ぼす影響について，定量的，整合的に把握することができる電気事業経営モデルを開発した。このモデルでは，産業構造変化や地域経済成長の鈍化が事業経営に与える影響，大規模電源の運開タイミングの変更が事業経営に与える影響，電気料金の改定が事業経営に与える影響などに関するシミュレーション分析を行うことにより，将来の経営環境変化が事業経営に与える影響を具体的に把握することができる。

概要 （英文）

The purpose of this report is to describe the development of electricity management model for Hokuriku Electric Power Company. We examine the affects of both the external environment and the company’s managerial decision such as investment for large power plant, on the total enterprise balance sheet. We also provide some beneficial management indices such as electricity demand, finance, and profit. This model formulates the mutual relationship between the electricity demand by kinds, power generation by types, investment, and finance using econometric methods. The result of final test on actual series of electricity demand, income, and total cost shows the good performance. We, therefore, believe that this model is reliable to perform the important simulation analyses such as (1) the reorganization and policy change upon electricity industry, (2) changing the timing and amount of investment for power plant, and (3) giving the different economic scenarios. As uncertainty of the economic environment rises rapidly in the recent years, the prompt decision making is required to improve the managerial performance. Our model can provide the important indices quantitatively and efficiently.
