RAを実践する上での諸課題を克服するツールとして、当所で過去に開発したRA手法を現場作業を実施している火力、原子力、配電など複数の事業所での試行運用を通じて改善し、さらにこの仕組みを取り込んだ「リスクアセスメント情報データベースプログラム（以下、RAIDS (Risk Assessment Information Data Base System)）」を開発した。

概要 （英文）

CRIEPI has been developing the tools applicable to real working field for workers of electric power companies based on the risk information data-base system “RAIDS (Risk Assessment Information Data base System)”, in which various kinds of risk data collected from accident reports, near-miss reports, expert opinions, past risk assessment data and extended risk evaluation. RAIDS has following remarkable features and has just applied to routine risk assessment cycles in daily operational tasks in a thermal power plant.1. RAIDS was designed to use accumulated risk information effectively before starting the jobs, in order to prepare soft and hard barriers previously. 2. The retrieved risk information necessary for implementing the task can be available by choosing among the menu list which is as followings: (1) Retrieving all risks accumulated corresponding to a specific task. (2) Retrieving risks corresponding to a specific procedural step. (3) Retrieving past events data associated with a specific task.RAIDS can also offer relevant information such as causal factors, specific situational factors, typical preventive measures and photos and diagrams explaining happening situation. 3. The retrieval output describing corresponding risks involved in the object task can be provided in the formats of easy and instant use in actual usage environment as followings: (1) Just in discussion of pointing risks before starting tasks. (2) Safety management of the local workplaces in implementing preventive measures- risk priority. (3) Proactive implementation of countermeasures with envisaged risks in planning stage.
