昨年度の調査結果を踏まえ，建設業界，石油化学･繊維化学業及び一般製造業に対して，各企業及び個人の安全活動に対する積極性やその他安全に関係ありそうな企業の組織風土等を包括的に調査できるような調査票を作成し，調査を行った。分析の結果，建設業とその他の2業種との間に差が見られ，石油化学･繊維化学業及び一般製造業の間には殆ど差は見られなかった。建設業は他の業種に比べ，安全制度･活動を積極的に行なっており，安全に関する社内体制も整備されていた。また，伝統的で成果主義的で安全を重視するという組織風土を持っていた。労災件数の多寡と組織要因との関係について調べたところ，建設業では，労災の多寡による企業差を見出すことが出来なかったが，他の2業種については，労災件数の少ない企業の方が，安全や作業自体に対して前向きな組織風土を備えており，種々の安全制度や活動に対して積極的に取り組んでいることが伺えた。

概要 （英文）

The purposes of this study are to investigate worker’s safety consciousness, organizational climates, safety policies and activities in some industries, and the relation between above items and accident rate, in order to improve safety performance in companies. Then, the questionnaire survey was performed to construction industries, petro-chemistry or textile chemical industries, and general manufacturing industries. Obtained answers were entered into the database, and were analyzed. As a result, followings were suggested.・ There were some differences between construction industries and other 2 industries. The former had more safety consciousness, performed safety activities more positively and made much of tradition, result and safety. ・ Petro-chemistry or textile chemical industries, and general manufacturing industries had the similar organizational climates.・ Except for the construction industries, companies with little accident rates had positive organizational climates about safety and work, and they carried out energetically about various safety activities. ・ No difference was found out by accident rates in construction industries. On the contrary, companies with much accident rates carried out energetically about various safety activities.
