DEVELOPMENT OF ADVANCED EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM USING AI TECHNIQUES

当所では運転員の事故対処能力を確実に維持向上するため,個々の運転員の理解度に合わせた教育が行える,知識工学を用いた運転員教育システム(ICAIシステム)の研究開発を行ってきた。本年度は研究の最終年度として,対応操作を含む教材を作成し,実用化を念頭に置いて各種ICAIシステムを評価した。(1)BWRプラントの給水喪失について,非常時操作手順書に基づき,対応操作の背景を解説する教材を作成した。(2)当所のICAIシステムは定性推論を用いた教材生成機能を持っているため,教材作成にかかる時間と費用を軽減できる。(3)ICAIシステムの実用化に際し,開発機関を短くしたい場合は当所と同じシステム構成が望ましい。また,費用を少しでも安くしたい場合はEWSベースのシステム構成が有利である。

IT IS IMPORTANT TO JUDGE THE CONDITION OF A NUCLEAR PLANT CORRECTLY AS WELL AS TO OPERATE THE PLANT OPTIMALLY WHEN PROBLEMS OCCUR. EUCATIONAL MATERIALS DEVELOPED IN 1990 FOR PLANT OPERATION EMPHASIZED THE LATER. THIS REPORT OUTLINES EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS FOR PLANT OPERATION THAT EXPLAIN THE OPERATION BACKGROUND. FURTHERMORE, IT DISCUSSES THE CHARACTERISTICS OF AN ADVANCED EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM COMPARED WITH A TRADITIONAL ONE. IT ALSO DISCUSSES SOFTWARE FOR SEVERAL ADVANCED EDUCATIONAL SYSTEMS CONSIDERING PRACTICAL USE IN THE FUTURE.1. EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS FOR PLANT OPERATION FEEDWATER LOSS IN A BWR WAS SELECTED AS THE EVENT. EDUCATIONAL MATERRIALS THAT EXPLAN THE OPERATION BACKGROUND WERE DEVELOPED ACCORDING TO THE EMERGENCY-OPERATION PROCEDURES.CAUSE AND EFFECT RELATIONSHIPS WERE ARRANGED IN TERMS OF REACTOR WATERLEVEL. THE SEQUENCE OF CAUSE AND EFFECT RELATIONSHIPS IS BROKEN-DOWN INTO EDUCATIONAL UNITS (PAIRS OF CAUSE AND EFFECT RELATIONSHIPS)IN A HIERARCHICAL MANNER. EXPLANATIONS AND QUESTIONS ARE GIVEN IN EVERY EDUCATIONAL UNIT. 2. CHARACTERISTICS OF ADVANCED EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM THE ADVANCED EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM GENERATES EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS NOT IN THE SYSTEMBY USING QUALITATIVE REASONING. THEREFORE,THE TIME AND EXPENSE OF MAKING EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS CAN BE CUT GREATLY COMPARED TO OTHER SYSTEMS. 3. EVALUATIN OF SEVERAL ADVANCED EDUCATIONAL SYSTEMS FOR PRACTICAL ADVANCED EDUCATIONAL SYSTEMS,CRIEPI S (LISP) MACHINE AND AN EWS-BASED SYSTEM (UNIX) ARE BEST. IF PRIORITY IS PLACED ON THE DEVELOPMENT TERM,THE FORMER SHOULD BE SELECTED. IF IT IS PLACED ON COST,THE LATTER IS ADVANTAGEOUS. IN BOTH CASES,IT IS PREFERABLE TO USE THE KNOWLEDGE-PROCESSING TOOL KEE FOR SYSTEM EXTENSION.
