ガス化生成灰の付着性はその存在形態の影響を強く受ける。チャーに取り込まれた片刃粒子（Included粒子の一部）とチャーから独立した単独粒子（Excluded粒子）が仮に同様の溶融状態であっても、付着性は大きく異なる。そこで、微粉炭中主要鉱物および灰中溶融粒子の存在形態とその相関を明らかとした。38炭種の微粉炭を分析し、平均組成で全鉱物の60%を占めるKaoliniteとQuartzはIncluded粒子として、CalciteなどはExcluded粒子として含まれる炭種が多いことを示した。また、ガス化炉出口捕集チャーを分析し、溶融粒子（球状粒子）中のNa,Mg,Kの濃度は、灰の平均組成よりも高いことを示した。さらに主要鉱物で微粉炭中でIncluded形態をとりやすいKaoliniteとQuartzの微粉炭中Excluded量から溶融粒子中のExcluded率が予測できる可能性を示した。

概要 （英文）

Coal ash particles packed in combustible components of coal or char is named included particles and coal ash particles expelled from combustible components is called excluded particles. The adhesion characteristics of included ash particle and excluded ash particle is assumed to be different even though both are sticky molten particles. The analysis of 38 brands of pulverized coal clarified that in CCSEM analysis mineral matters in coal is classified into 33 kinds of mineral, but concentraion of most of them less than 1%, on the other hand average concentraion of Kaolinite is 40wt%, and that of Quartz is about 19wt%. And most of the coal brand contains Kaolinite and Quartz as included particles.The analysis of coal ash in char particles captured at the exit of 2tons per day process developping gasifier of CRIEPI clarified following points;1)elemental composition of molten ash particles classified by particle shape determination software of CCSEM, 2)concentraion of basic elements, such as Na, K, Mg and Fe is much higher than average concentraion ot them in coal ash.3)amount of excluded particles among molten particles have relation between amount of excluded particles contained in pulverized coal as Kaolinite and Quartz.
