電力系統の安定度解析や電圧安定性解析は,安定かつ経済的な系統運用のための基本的な評価技術のひとつであり,設備計画や運用計画の様々な局面で用いられる。これらの解析プログラムへの初期条件としてベース潮流データが必要となるが,電圧や潮流の運用幅からの違反を解消しつつ潮流条件を設定する作業は,計画立案者の手作業による試行錯誤に依っており,その効率化と省力化が望まれている。このため,当所がオンライン用に開発した電圧無効電力制御プログラムを改良し,このような初期潮流断面を自動的に作成するプログラムを開発した。

ANALYSIS PROGRAMS FOR POWER SYSTEM STABILITYAND VOLTAGE STABILITY ARE ESSENTIAL EVALUATION TOOLS FOR SECURE AND ECONOMIC OPERATION OF BULK POWER SYSTEMS AND THEY ARE USED IN VARIOUS STAGES OF POWER SYSTEM EXPANSION AND OPERATION PLANS. BEFORE PERFORMING SUCH SIMULATIONS,THE BASE LOAD FLOW CONDITION WITH NO VIOLATION OF BUS VOLTAGES AND GENERATOR REACTIVE OUTPUTS MUST BE SPECIFIED AS AN INITIAL CONDITION IN THESE ANALYSIS PROGRAMS. THE COMPLICATED WORK TO ESTABLISH THE BASE LOAD FLOW DATA DEPENDS ON HEURISTIC PROCESSING BY POWER SYSTEMPLANNERS. THIS STUDY DEVELOPS AN OPTIMIZATION PROGRAM THAT AUTO-MATICALLY ELIMINATES VIOLATIONS FROM THE BUS VOLTAGE SECURITY LIMITS AND THE GENERATOR REACTIVE POWER LIMITS BY APPROPRIATELY ADJUSTING VOLTAGE REGULATORS SUCH AS GENERATORS,TRANSFORMERS AND SHUNT CAPACITORS. THE MAIN FEATURES OF THE NEWLY-DEVELOPED PROGRAM ARE AS FOLLOWS: (1)TO ELIMINATE VIOLATIONS OF BUS VOLTAGES AND GENERATOR REACTIVE OUTPUTS (DELTA V AND DELTA Q),THE FOLLOWING FUNCTION IS DEFINED:F=SIGMA DELT V**2 + SIGMA DELTA Q**2 FUNCTION F ISEVENTUALLY MINIMIZED TO ZERO BY SEQUENTIALLY ACTUATING VOLTAGE REGULATORS ON THE BASIS OF VOLTAGE SENSITIVITY FACTORS OBTAINED FROM THE JACOBIAN MATRIX OF THE NEWTON-RAPHSON LOAD FLOW ANALYSIS. (2)TO AVOID DIVERGENCE OF LOAD FLOW CALCULATION IN POOR CONDITIONS,ALL LOAD BUSES ARE SET AS A P-V SPECIFIED BUS. A REACTIVE POWER MISMATCH(DELTA Q) AT THE P-V SPECIFIED BUS CAN BE REDUCED BY MINIMIZING THE FOLLOWING FUNCTION: G=SIGMA DELTA Q**2 AFTER FUNCTION G IS MINIMIZED BY THE SAME LOGIC AS IN (1),ALL THE LOAD BUSES ARE RESET AS A P-Q SPECIFIEDBUS. THIS CONDITION MAKES THE LOAD FLOW CALCULATION CONVERGE BECAUSE THE REACTIVE POWER RESOURCES HAVE BEEN APPROPRIATELY DISPATCHED BY MINIMIZATION OF FUNCTION G. (3)A SUMMATION OF THE REACTIVE TRANSMISSION LOSSOF THE POWER SYSTEM IS USED AS THE OBJECTIVE FUCTION: H=SIGMA QLOSS CALCULATION SHAWS THAT MINIMIZATION OF THE REACTIVE POWER LOSS CAN ENHANCE THE VOLTAGE STABILITY OF THE POW
