赤外線カメラを使ってピンがいし等配電柱に装柱されている不良を検出する手法を開発した．本手法は，背景切り出し部分，機材抽出部と異常検知部からなる．異常検知は，ピンがいしの近傍の輝度の変化率を比較して，変化率が大きい場合に異常と判定するものである．撮影条件を変えた18ケースの画像に対して適用したところ，15ケースについては，異常検出が可能であった．また，都市部などで他の電柱の機材の映り込みが予想され，そのような場合には，熱画像から得られる情報以外にも種々の情報が必要なことを明らかにした．

概要 （英文）

We developed method of apparatuses on a distribution pole sby infrared camera. Our method is consist of parts of removing background, extraction of pin insulators, and detection whether one pin insulator is wrong or not. The method of diagnosis of pin insulators is consist of computation of the gradient of brightness value of each pin insulator and comparison of its gradient. We videotaped 18 cases under different conditions Our method succeeded in detecting 15 cases of them. And we also discuss a method under complex situations in city areas like it happens to be projection of the other pole in the image.
