インターネットの普及に伴い、アクセス系の高速化・大容量化が進んでいる。電力会社においても分散型電源や新規アプリケーションの導入をふまえたアクセス系ネットワークの整備が必要とされている。本稿ではアクセス系通信技術の動向を調査し、電力通信網への適用方法について検討した。電力通信網のアクセス系は光ケーブルのPDS (Passive Double Star) 方式が主体で、EPON (Ethernet Passive Optical Network) の適用により、容易にIP網への移行が可能となる。xDSL, 無線LANなどは光ケーブルの補完的な利用が見込まれる。

概要 （英文）

With the spread of Internet, the need of high-speed and large-capacity access network is increasing. In utility companies, improvement of access network is needed in preparation for introduction of distributed generations and new applications. In this report, we investigate the recent trend of access network technologies, and study how to apply toutility communication. Access network in utility companies mainly consists of optical cable (Passive Double Star) . It can shift easily to IP network by the application of EPON (Ethernet Passive Optical Network) . xDSL, Wireless LAN is expected to complements optical fiber.
