電力用通信サービスを単一プラットフォームで統合的に提供できる電力用DTM統合通信網の概念設計を行った。１．標準化動向 DTMの標準化はETSIにおいて2003年3月完了を目途に進められており、2001年3月に「第1部：DTMシステムの記述」が刊行された。これにより、DTM通信網の概念設計が可能となった。２．電力用DTM統合通信網の概念設計(1)電力通信網の基本構成を３層のリング構成とし、各事業所における業務を想定することにより、DTM通信網に接続する事業所LANをモデル化した。さらに、これらの事業所LANを相互接続することにより、図２のような電力用DTM統合通信網を構成できることを示した。(2)この統合通信網において、DTM技術の特性により電力系統保護用から一般業務用に必要な全ての通信サービスを提供できる可能性があることを明らかにしたた。

概要 （英文）

DTM(Dynamic synchronous Transfer Mode) technologies will give remarkable network solutions to the integrated services communication network based on a single platform, which is optimized for various traffics such as voice, data and video. The standardization of DTM have been studied at ETSI. They planned to finish the necessary works for the standardization. And they have already published 「DTM; Part 1: System description」in March 2001 as the first step. In that document, terms and the concept of a DTM system were defined. As a result, a conceptual design of DTM networks can be investigated. We shows outlines of DTM-based MAN projects in Sweden and Italy. They are testing various applications such as internet services, administration support system, video distribution, remote medical diagnosis, and so on. We have investigated a integrated services communication network for electric power utilities. First, we surveyed applications utilizing communication networks. Considering such applications, LAN configurations of offices and electric stations to be connected to DTM access nodes are modeled. And typical optical fiber networks of electric power companies are naturally supposed to have multi layered ring topology. Here we assumed three layered dual DTM rings as a core network. Finally, we proposed a DTM-based integrated services communication network by connecting LANs to DTM core network.
