コミュニティ支援ツール地域コミュニティやオンラインコミュニティを支援するさまざまなインターネット上のツールが研究・開発されている。地域振興の支援や通信事業の支援を行う電気事業のビジネス戦略策定に、これらツールの研究開発状況や各国での取り組み状況が有効な情報と考えられる。電気事業が今後の地域振興支援や通信事業支援に取組む参考となる情報として、インターネットの利用状況、コミュニティ支援のツールや各国の研究動向を明らかにする。コミュニティの支援ツールの開発は、ネット上の社会性に注目したツールに関心が移っており、今後の方向として、ネット上の社会性を対象としたツールがコミュニティの発展や管理に有効と考えられる。各国の研究動向からは、欧州ではEUが組織的にコミュニティのタイプ別支援支援研究を、米国ではボランティア主体のコミュニティネット上でツールの評価が行われている。

概要 （英文）

In this survey, we found1. Communitywares (softwares for enabling and sustaining communities)are evolving from simple communication media to visualization tools of knowledge or recommendation systems and to social awareness support tools for users.2. Communitities (digital cities, and free-net)use similar tool such as e-mail, chat, Web, BBS. Purpose of digital cities are to upgrade service for citizen economically and to increase their engagement to local goverments. Purpose of free-net are to provide free access to internet for everybody needed without charge. Both have trouble in engagement and maintain of services, respectively.3. By comparing researches in community support tools US, EU, and Japan, Japan need to more project and field testing.4. Utilities planning to provide regional service using IT should pay more attention to future role of communities and should have strategy for nursing community support researches.
