情報システム開発に当たって，要求仕様の費用対効果とプロジェクトのリスクを定量的に評価する手法の枠組みを提案した。また，その要素技術として，要求仕様を機能，品質，効用，技術の４つの観点から階層的に分類整理する手法，情報システムの導入効果（効用）を評価するための効用特性の体系，開発リスクを分析するためのリスク要因の体系を提案した。

概要 （英文）

This report proposes a new framework of “QUEST(QUantitative Evaluation method for information System development projecT),” which is intended to be a method to quantitatively evaluating - cost versus benefit of the user requirements for a software development project; and- risk and its estimated influence(damages to the project).The framework is based on DENKEN method FPA, which measures the software size from the viewpoint of Functions provided by the system. After measuring functional size of the software, QUEST measures the quality levelm, expected benefit, risk factors and its influence of the user requirements, and also estimate the work-efforts.This report also proposes the hierarchical structure of system benefits characteristics and risk factors, both of which are represented as trees. These trees will be utilized to develop quantitative measurement algorithms for benefits and risks. This report also includes aprototype of risk analysis checklist which is an example use of the risk factor tree.
