概要 (英文)
A GAUSSIAN TRAJECTORY PLUME MODEL WAS EVALUATED USING THREE DATA SETS. THE DATA CAME FROM FIELD EXPERIMENTS AT MT.TSUKUBA (CONDUCTED BY JAERI),AT TOCHIHI (BY IPCAJ),AND AT HOGBACK RIDGE (BY THE U.S.EPA). THE GAUSSIAN TRAJECTORY PLUME MODEL HAS THE FOLLOWINGFEATURES. (1)THE EVALUATION OF PLUME TRAJECTORY IS MADE USING EITHER APOTENTIAL OR A QUASI-POTENTIAL FLOW MODEL. (2)TOPOLOGICAL EFFECTS ARE INCLUDED IN THE PARAMETERS FOR THE STANDARD DEVIATION OF PLUME WIDTH. THE PARAMETERS ARE ESTIMATED USING THREE DIFFERENT METHODS:PASQUILL-GIFFORD CHART TERRAIN FACTORS BASED ON RESULTS OF WIND TUNNEL EXPERIMENTS,AND STANDARD DEVIATION OF WIND VELOCITY. THE RESULTS OBTAINED BY THE GAUSSIAN TRAJECTORY PLUME MODEL AGREE WELL WITH RESULTS OF FIELD TRACER EXPERIMENTS FOR UNSTABLE AND NEUTRAL ATMOSPHERIC CONDITIONS. FOR STABLE ATMOSPHERIC CONDITIONS,THE MODEL TENDS TO UNDERPREDICT HIGH CONCENTRATIONS ON THE WINDWARD SIDE OF HILLS.
